Accessibility: As an historic property dating back to 1881, the Lynwood Inn is exempt from ADA structural change requirements. The Lynwood Inn unfortunately is unable to accommodate everyone with accessibility or other disability needs. All rooms are accessed by stairs. There is no elevator in the Inn. Please contact us to learn more if you have specific needs.
FREE Parking (one VEHICLE per room). If you require additional parking spaces, we can recommend nearby town of York paid parking lots.
Check in time is 4:00 PM. Incoming guests may park at 12 Noon (please see manager for parking pass).
Departure is 10:00 AM out of suite. Parking remains available until 12:00 noon on departure date.
Housekeeper gratuity: We have housekeepers from all around the world on a college exchange Work Program (J1’s) each year. Guest gratuities may be made via VENMO and these lovely and hard-working young people will share among themselves the gratuities. VENMO: QR code available in each room. They will be grateful. Thank you.
Dogs allowed (must be crated when room is empty). $100 per STAY for each dog will be added / charged to your credit card (for cleaning and sanitizing). For town of York leash law and “dogs on the beach policy” please read the Town of York Website Here. Except for dogs, no other pets of any kind are allowed. While our team performs thorough cleaning between every stay, including rooms that have hosted dogs, it is possible that small amounts of dog hair or dander may remain. Guests with allergies or heightened sensitivities to dogs are responsible for determining whether our dog-friendly environment is suitable for their stay or if another accommodation would better meet their needs.
Grill and Firepit: Guests are welcome to use at your leisure; please be safe around children and TURN GAS TANKS OFF WHEN DONE. Our patio is a lovely communal gathering place from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM so our neighbors may enjoy quiet summer evenings.
Vending Machines: There are two vending machines on the property with various snacks and drinks available, cash only. Vending machine open for guests from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
No smoking: For the safety, protection, and comfort of our guests and neighboring properties, The Lynwood Inn is designated as a strictly non-smoking facility. Smoking, vaping, the use of e-cigarettes, candles, incense, or any other open flame or burning materials is prohibited anywhere on the property, except in the far back right corner of the parking lot (“The Serenity Circle”), which is the only designated smoking area. Marijuana use is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property, regardless of state law. The possession, use or discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, regardless of state or local law. A $300 fee will be added to your bill if evidence of these are found or detected. This policy is strictly enforced.
